This incredible self drive allows you to experience various highlights in Namibia and Botswana at your own pace! Highlights are Windhoek, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Twyfelfontein, Etosha, Onguma Game Reserve, Rundu, Zambezi Region, Kwando River, Chobe National Park, Optional Victoria Falls.

Accommodation
Accommodation is at small campsites and lodges.

Car Rental
For this route you do need a 4x4 rental car. They have a higher clearance and are much better for the Namibian gravel roads and deep sandy roads in Botswana. On request we can upgrade your car to an SUV or an automatic transmission car.

- This trip is also available in reverse direction. All our self-drives are adjustable to your liking. We are is a tailor made specialist.

- The traveler needs to have a credit card (no prepaid) in order hire the vehicle.
- The driving distances are an indication from Google Maps and can be incorrect. Bear in mind that border crossings, road works, bad road conditions and other circumstances may affect your travel time.
- Please note that effective 01 June 2015, the New South African, Namibian and Botswana Immigration Regulation requires that children under 18 years produce their UNABRIDGED BIRTH CERTIFICATES, along with their passports. If you’re traveling to another African country, we still strongly recommend to bring the original birth certificate, as these rules can change without prior notice in some African countries.
